Created as part of Runeterra Armory, this piece belongs to my larger self-initiated fan art series dedicated to translating iconic League of Legends weapon designs into more grounded, high-fidelity hero assets.
For Katarina’s weapons, I wanted to retain the sharp silhouette, elegance, and danger of the original design language while exploring how these forms could function in a more realistic, cinematic context. The process was focused on bridging stylized source material with believable materials, construction details, and a presentation style closer to premium prop visualization.
The broader idea behind Runeterra Armory is to build a cohesive collection of weapon-focused works inspired by the visual worlds of Riot Games - pieces that sit somewhere between fan art, collectible design, and production-minded hard-surface illustration.
